    If you answer yes to any of these, you probably need a professional, certified appraisal.  If you want an appraiser who will take the time to explain the appraisal process, discuss your home specifically, and answer all of your questions, then give us a call or email.

    What if I forget to ask all my questions while you are in my home?  No problem.  Give me a call anytime after the appraisal and I will answer your questions to the best of my ability. 

    My loan officer said that I cannot discuss my appraisal with the appraiser?  That is true if you are getting an appraisal from a lender that is going to be sold to Fannie Mae.  If you are getting your own appraisal for any reason above or any other reason, the appraiser can discuss the appraisal with you fully...including the appraised value.
